Ok peps listen up, hears a story im gonner tell which has a big warning in it. Rosie was there in the end and will comfirm what happened or should i say what i almost gave away.
My story begins just the other day 21st of feb about 6pm in the arvo. Here i am sitting at brit bank minding my own, and watching the chatter going on around the bank, when this character called Ken (name given by a disguise kit)walks over and says hi and lets me know its Rosie here but with a different character. Well Fake/rosie or ken then proceeds to tell me a little story. Now this guy was good, he basically told me that a friend was leaving the game and had a castle to get rid off. And that he would sell to her for the small fee of 10mill, now this is where i sort of got sus on the whole thing. if i was leaving game i wouldnt be after gold in game to get rid off anything id either sell for real dollars or just give it away to friends in game. Anyway rosie(ken) informs me that she already has collected some money about 6.3 million and asks if im intersted in donating some money to buy the castle for the new guild house. i decide ill contribute the sum of 1mill for the deal. ken then says great and stands around waiting for the money. now this is where my own instincts took over before i hand over the cash i say icq me rosie so i know its really you as i havent ever seen this character before. (note guys, always make sure its who u know before allowing anything to happen never just go on their word. i know this sounds hard but if i hadnt done this id be down 1mill and prob be on some dicks web site as newbie of the month that got scammed)Back to the story anyways ken says that her brother has her icq on and that she cant use it. or somthing to that matter this is when the friend off to the side by the name of Vearax starts trying to distract me with dump chit chat.(Vearax i think was in real charater so beware of this person i have yet to find out who the other dude ken really is in game. and it seems that vearaxs job was to distract me)Now im really thinking something weird is going on so i fire up icq and yep rosies on but N/A i try messageing her anyway. Thanks rosie that u happened to responed so soon :).Now this is where i almost came unstuck wife walks in and says dinner is on the table and to hurry up so now im not really paying attention to my feelings here and am in a bit of a hurry to go eat so i swallow the line about icq rosie hadnt answered me by then yet:) so i say ill had over the money if u can answer one easy question for me (ken made out as if needed the money in a hurry by tonight to make the deal)i asked whats my icq handle and ken says i have changed it to chtak to make things eaiser ok i swallow that one, and say ok then i try another who attacked us last time we were down in fire dungeon in fel kens answer someone starting with T "wrong" now i know i got a scammer!! this is when rosie responds to my icq ask whats up? hehe now im on to this guy which im in a party with. At this stage Ken types "hes made us dude gigs up." so ken drops party and walks away just as rosie shows up. well to cut things short i let ken know he almost got me and take it all on the chin as if i had gotten taken in by him the only person to blame would have been myself. so lesson here peps is never trust on someones words alone in game or even a few easy answered questions when it comes to things worth alot of gold in game check check and double check its who they say they are becouse if they have done there home work they will know some answers to ur questions and icq profiles can be stolen so beware even with that. ask questions that u know only they will know :) and im sure we will all be on our guard and not get too worried if u ask us to prove we're who we say we are if dealing in valuables in game.Im sure rosie will add to this as she got pics of the end bits but thats it in a nut shell take care friends and beware as Ken addmitted he does this quite often. (would love to know this dudes real name in game he seems to hate lord jones guts somthing bad in game and even has posted a web site on his hate about him here it is if u wanna check it out. uofags.4t.com )
