Subject: The Savages Author: DrHarry [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: Thu, Jun 28 2001, 11:12pm Ok I was out wandering about today, on my travels I ventured into Britain just to see if there was anything good for sale at the bank. There wasn't much happenning, just when I was about to leave a magical blue portal opened infront of me. Being as bored as I was I felt like an adventure. I jumped in the gate. To my surprise there was no people on the other side, they must have gone through the other way at the same time. What was there as a not too friendly Ogre Lord, and the deathly stench of a Lich Lord. Thinking calmly (not really) I dismount Sneezy (my trusted Nightmare), whilst running I manage to command him to attack the lich lord, as he is a caster and I felt I could outrun the Ogre lord. Sprinting away for my life I got far enough away to cast a Invisibility spell on myself. Luckily I did this successfully and both the lords forgot about my presence and concentrated on Sneezy. Panicing I noticed my steed was starting to whimper in pain. Running to his need I began to use my roll of bandages to cover his wounds. Unfortunatly i tlooked like he was going to lose this battle so I managed to cast some damaging spells, enough to make the Lich Lord perish. Now it was one on one and i had faith in Sneezy as he has killed many Orge Lords on previous ventures. Still he took a few big hits but we came out victourious!! After such an ordeal I decided to take Sneezy walking in the woods. We saw lots of things. The most interesting would be a Savages spawn out of a town. Right outside the Lizardman Fort south of Destard dungeon. But be advised, this is not for the faint of heart. I gave this information to Synergy and Trentam, both did not return alive. SO BEWARE!
