Starry Pass

Two tall cliffs shelter this tt from wind and weather. There is plenty of lush grass and a tiny stream provides drinking water. It is said that on a clear night, this tt has the best view of the stars.

Sabi enters the territory, smiling gently at the site of her younger sister, Finale, and her nephew Playwrite. She canters closer and nickers a greeting. "Hello Finale. Mercutio twitches nervously and begins to speak... "I err... A warm breeze sighes though the tt. Not really a breeze, more like a feeling. A feeling like a warm blanket wraped snugly around you on a cold winter night. It seems to be whispering ever so slightly, only the ones who truly belive and listen could ever hear what it is saying.It whispers words of comfort and love. Then it silently shifts away to please another tt. As it goes away, you can still feel the warm feeling. Like you have just done something good and is feels good inside. The chestnut yearling filly limps in, eyes averted from everyone. She had spent a long and painful year at Willow Grove, healing from the horrible burns she had suffered. Now Shadowfax had pronounced her "healed"...but the pain was unceasing...a reminder of her foolishness...she had thought she could change things, she had trusted an evil, and he had led her towards death. She looks to Calisto, tears shining in her eyes, and nuzzles him lovingly, then looks at the other horses, choking the words out. "I'm - I'm sorry...I've been horrible to all of you...I didn't think I could grow to love another family...and when I started to...I felt I had to hide it." She looks at all their faces and whispers. He gently nuzzles Playwrite and smiles. "I'm only sorry that you never had your parents to lead you in the right direction. If you stay, We can all watch out for you and lead you down the right path. Just don't leave... Many of us may miss you greatly, including myself and Finale. Stay here, Sunburst. Stay here." Two young horses enter the pass. One is a dun colt who is not far from being a stallion. The other is a bay filly that is a bit younger. They trot together side byside. The Filly speaks first. Finale enters as well and Playwrite dashes up. "Hello, this is my home and you are welcome here..." Playwrite snorts at Sonnet gently, curious of the filly. He says, then directs his attention to Sonnet who scampers about nearby with a verry wobbily Playwrite close at her heals. The dun draws attention to himself and speaks loudly. "I will be a stallion soon and wish to take a place of some authority here in this land. I know I am young, but being alone for so long has strengthened me and made me wise beyond my years." He raises his head higher, catching his dark mane in the wind. Monaco canters over to his mate with excitement. "He's here at last!" He tenderly nuzzles mother and foal, laughing at the little colt's clumsiness. Ember's Mystery sniffs around a little and suddenly spies Argentina Flame sleeping in the brush. He leaps into the air with happiness and nudges the filly awake and over to her father. Flaming Ember's head hangs and his eyes are dull. When EM shows up with AF, he jumps up and covers the filly in nuzzles. At last, he's found his baby. Miraz canters in, head bobbing gently as he goes. He smiles when he sees his family and friends, the familiar faces that relieved all of his stress. He nickers loudly for Colours, wondering what she had been up to. (OOC: We're going back to Desert Oasis, Miraz's herd!) He nuzzles Colours and nudges her towards his territory. Flaming Ember and Monaco trot back into the territory, FE looking a bit disheveled. "We're back, everyone. Miraz is at the Joinging board, talking to an injured mare that he's trying to help and give a home to." He glances at Coloured Mystery. " He'll be back as soon as possible, and it looks like his territory is going to be reinhabited! The place looks great, and Miraz thinks that he'll move his family back in when he returns with the new mare." He smiles and stares at FE. The white stallion snorts and walks away from Monaco, head drooping. A few open wounds are caked with dry blood, but he's doing fine. "FE won the fight, but he was tricked by that evil stallion, Diablo's Deceivance. SUPPOSEDLY, Argentina Flame (AB is still missing) was rescued by a horse named The Fire Rages On... But we don't know where that particular horse is. Does anyone here know? FE's feeling pretty low, and I want to help him..." The bay stallion trots over to Finale, nuzzling her gently. Looking around, he hangs his head, not seeing Argentina Breeze or his own beloved mate, Dance With Destiny. He whinnies a long, sad call, fearing that both mares are gone. Miraz emerges from the willow grove some time later and nickers for Colours, checking to see if she's alright. Monaco trots over to his brother. "If you're rested enough, I think that we should go help Flaming Ember. His daughter was raided and his mate hasn't been seen for some time... I think he needs our help." Monaco, Miraz, and Flaming Ember storm into the territory, scorched, tired, and scared. (OOC: Everyone, I have bad news for the people who play this game with the Embers-- The player's dad disconnected their internet because of a number of reasons. However, she told me ((I'm her friend)) that I could play the horses... or kill them. I didn't really want to kill them, so I'm playing them. Please help me out! I don't want you mares to lose your mates and stuff, so I'll play Ember's Mystery, Flaming Ember, and all those guys. I'm really sorry!) The three horses halt when they see Calisto. Ember's Mystery snorts and tries to help the stallion up, whispering gently. "It's too late... I saw her in the Caves..." He then nods to FE to join his mare and daughter. Finale whuffs over Monaco's body, her eyes carefully looking at the burns. She motions behind her, "There is aloe way over there....I'm going to get some for you guys." The mare canters off and strips some of the sticky aloe plants of their leaves. She trots back with the leaves back in her mouth and carefully applies some of the sticky substance to Monaco's burns, then moves over to Miraz, attempting to soothes their injuries. Miraz again nickers for Colours, snorting a little as Finale covers a small third-degree burn on his back. Flaming Ember stands to the side, having only a few small burns despite his contact with the flames. Not seeing AB and AF, he whinnies for them, worried. The bay colt gallops in, eyes full of fear. His strides quicken as he sees the herd, though his feet are bleeding, stones embedded in them. He can not even feel his legs anymore, they are numb from the pain. But he is heedless to all of this, because only one thing really matters right now. His sister. He stops, nearly collapsing, and opens his mouth, struggling to find the breath to call out. Finally he seems to find his voice and yells hoarsely. "Help - " he still gasps for air, his words jumbled and confusing. "Help - in the - in the - the caves - Sunburst!"
