If it is a stick or something, he can't very easily operate, being a horse. ;o) Also, can't really jab it down, because there are isn't anything that can do that and not scrape your 'insides' But, if it is not wedged to tightly, you can try to force it down by eating something else, or with water. You won't have the same risk of choking as a person would because the horses' larynx and trachea are not connected.
