Dear Fellow U2 Fan:

You may have heard by now that a group of U2 fans have gotten together and
organized a Jubilee 2000 Fundraiser in honor of Bono's 40th birthday in May.
Our ambitious conceit is that we will be able to raise $4,000 between now &
May 1.

We are writing to you to ask that you not only participate in this fundraiser
but also pass the information on to anyone else you know who may be
interested in honoring Bono on his 40th birthday or supporting Jubilee 2000.
Information regarding the
fundraiser can also be found at http://www.atu2.com/fanzone/fundraiser/.
This will include each week's donors and a current tally.

THE GOAL: To raise $4,000 for Jubilee 2000 by May 1st in honor of Bono's 40th
birthday on May 10th.

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO: Send a check or money order made out to Jubilee 2000
along with a 1"x2" piece of paper with your signature on it to:

Please note that we are fully able to accept checks from any bank on the
earth, drawn in any nation's currency. Dollars, pounds, francs, pesos, yen,
send us your checks made out to JUBILEE 2000!

New! -- If you are interested in donating via credit card, the Jubilee 2000
organization can facilitate that. E-mail back to me if you want that info.

WHAT WE'LL DO: All of the money will be sent to Jubilee 2000 in Bono's honor
in one large donation package on or around May 10th.

To Bono we will send a large card incorporating the lyrics of "40" as the
background, a collage of Bono/J2K press clippings, a brief explanation of the
donation and all of the signature cards of all donors - also on or around May
10th.

Please join us in supporting this worthwhile cause in honor of a great artist
and humanitarian.
