The Alarm Make A Stand In The USA

On the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the release of The Alarm's
debut American single, 'The Stand', and first tour of North America as
guests of U2 during 1983's 'War Tour'. The Alarm will host a series of
three night engagements in four major cities across America this November:

'The Alarm Make A Stand In the USA'

Mondays 3/10/17 of November at The Knitting Factory (East), New York, NY
Wednesdays 5/12/19 of November at The Middle East, Boston, MA Thursdays
6/13/20 of November at The Elbo Room, Chicago, IL Fridays 7/14/21 of
November at The Knitting Factory (West), Los Angeles, CA

The Alarm who are still fronted by founding member and lead singer Mike
Peters, will perform all their classic hits ' 68 Guns', 'Spirit Of '76',
'Rain In The Summertime' and of course 'The Stand', along side tracks from
their new album 'In The Poppy Fields' - the first recorded music in over ten
years to carry the hallmark of The Alarm.

The Alarm can lay claim to a series of 14 Top 50 UK singles, seven
successful albums and over 5 million sales worldwide where The Alarm's
pioneering use of acoustic guitars brought the band into direct contact with
the likes of Bob Dylan, Neil Young and U2, who have all appeared and sung on
stage with The Alarm. The original line-up of the band played it's last show
at Brixton Academy in June '91 and ever since then, the bands legacy has
been continued alone, by founding member and lead singer Mike Peters.
