Subject: If "U2" was a movie?

Have you seen any of the music biography movies. Im not talking about a half an hour biography on a band. Im not talking about a music video like Rattle And Hum. I mean......a movie portraying as factual as possible the life and times of a band or singer. Like the Buddy Holly movie, the Elvis Presley movie, the Beach Boys movie, the Temptations movie ect ect ect..........

Everytime a movie like those are made, they always reveal the up and downs of a band or a singer, that they had to go through to get where they are.

U2 have had alot of ups, but Im not concerned about that now.....what are the downs? No breakups, no deaths, no serious downfalls. Maybe the worst has yet to come? Lets hope not! This is a band with alot of positives, they've been together for so long, one of the longest running and popular bands in the history of music.

What could be some downs that would be in the movie?

Adam's drinking/Naomi Campbell ordeal.
Troubles in Ireland
The band in the late 70's getting blasted by local crowds
Dropping out of school
The Edge's hesitation in the early 80's.
Having to dream it all up again in 1989.
Having hard times keeping personal lives away from the open.
Bono struggling to make the band in the 70's.
Bono getting arrested twice one for the vandelism, another from disturbing the peace.(which I found quite humorous)
Larry's sister's death
Bono's mother's death
The Edge's divorce
The Stolen Achtung sessions
The band trying to stay together after minor breakups

Can anyone think of any more?

I think U2 would make an AMAZING movie! But is there really enough downfalls? I did list quite a few, after reading them over, their might just be enough struggles to make a good movie. Despite any of it, I would absolutely love to see a movie, that I think would be oh so perfect to watch over and over again.
