Subject: Mnemonic - "The Ground Beneath Her Feet"

As part of a university research project about music distribution on the internet, the rock band 'Mnemonic' are proud to announce the release of their latest single, "The Ground Beneath Her Feet" today.

This song is available for free download from the band's website:

As you know, U2 are rumoured to be releasing this song soon on the Million-Dollar-Hotel soundtrack. Mnemonic's version uses the chords from the short demo Bono and The Edge (of the band U2) performed on on BBC1 Television in England earlier last year and features Richard Das on vocals and guitar, Jonathan Skipp on lead guitar and Kiron Chahel on drums.

Mnemonic are in no way affiliated or associated with either U2 or Mr. Rushdie and this recording is in no way intended to represent the work of either artists, however we felt that you and your readers might be interested in hearing our interpretation of the song.

In exchange for the tune, we hope that some of your readers might complete our mp3 usage survey:

U2 are due to release this song on their forthcoming album later this year. In the mean time, have a listen to Mnemonic's interpretation and tell us what you think!
