He nodded once more, shifting his position on the wooden seat slightly. The story was convincing enough for him, he'd seen to much to be disbelieving in anything supposedly out of the ordinary. "I see." was all he said. His voice hinted at nothing, which was rare for him. He like to hint things just enough to catch and keep the interest of the ones he's conversing with, make them think they knew what was going on, but not now. He had given up hinting to this one, at least for the present. He realized now that back in the forest he'd underestimated the boy in front of him, and now Briar held a new respect with him. At the moment he heard nothing to hint of the information held back, even though he was used to people keeping things from him. That certain thought -of briar being the one in the tale- had not yet entered his mind. He searched once more the depths of his mind to find some other thing to progress on...and finds nothing. Silence stretches on, building an uncomfortable barrier between the two at the small table. The man loses himself in thought for several minutes before returning, his head lifts. He sighs. "It's kind of stuffy in here..." He comments, before pulling his hood back for the first time in the boys presence. Hair dark as night tumbled out from beneath it, a bit ragged on the ends as with hard travel, and a cleanly cut face that looked as if it rarely were in direct sunlight....obviously the man kept his hood up on most occasions. Dark eyes matching the exact color of the locks stare out at the boy, silently wondering how the boy would react to his sudden action. He rarely showed his face to anyone, in his opinion it was an act to show his new respect and trust for the boy. The stuffiness of the room had just been an excuse. He leans forward a notch, with a strange curiousity.

((OOC-Convincing eh? Well, I guess I am ok at the writing part....hmm....well, I play at other medeival human RPG's as well, I personally think they're the best! It's one of the best things if you wanna improve your writing skills, but then I'm rambling. By the way, ever read Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan? The first book is called the Eye of the World. ))
