The wound is bleeding freely, staining some of his shirt red. He was glad for Kyna's nearness but he had to do this; he would find another way; although he longed to sink his dagger into the other he did not want to risk not being allowed into the Inn. "The woods," he mumbles, turning to go, using the bottom of his shirt to keep the blood mostly in.
