The moment in waiting, he'd watched her rise from her chair in a trance. By one point, he'd passed a certain alarm, a fear seizing his heart as every nerve in his body screamed at him, "Intruder!" He makes no sound to this silent call of his own instincts, but watches her eyes gaze, her arms fall. He is already out of his seat, every moment of her silence tearing a new, guilty hole in his mind. Forgetting the surroundings, his pain, his fatigue, and himself, the wingli takes her head between his hands, looking unbelievably into her face. A new emotion washes over him like a wave of stupidity, breakignt he seal of his stupor. Every interior part of his self trembles at the sudden shock of it all, and he barely is able to utter the single word, "....Aurora..."

Dead? no, she was not dead. His heart had been shown mercy....he was not to grieve this day. But he'd seen. he'd seen, and known, and felt whatever evil lurked and left. Something new had begun. Something inside of him appeared that had never been there before. He'd been angry, he'd been outraged, and sad, and lost at one time. He'd even died once, barely escaping the Nameless One with his soul. But now he was aware of a sudden change in this different type of anger. It was more than vengeance, more than anger itself. It was for Aurora. Someone had done this to her, and that nullified whatever surprise of the sudden attack had left. This wouldn't create a weakness....no, this was Aurora. They'd harmed Aurora. No matter who "they" was, not matter where "they' or "he" came from. It was going to pay. That was all he knew. He'd seen it. It had made a mistake. It had hurt Aurora. "Aurora...please, don't lay like this...." Folling a very loud, and very frustrated curse, the wingli shts his eyes, his ears nd his mind from hsi surroundings. "What happened!!!???"
