In an impressive show of speed, Kit tore down the streets of the city, dodging the pedestrians all gawking at the Senate building. Since leaving the park, however, her mind had been trying to dodge feelings of guilt. She was saddened yet infuriated with herself that her Senator could very well be dead. How could I have been so STUPID?! I never should have left him alone that long! It's all my fault. If anything's happened to him, I'll never forgive myself. Transforming to robot mode at the bottom of the Senate steps, she quickly leapt up them.
