Subject: Waiting for a companion.

Cliffjumper glanced down the filled streets of Cybertron from his vantage viewpoint high atop the Senate Building. Not many Cybertronians were able to scale such tall building without the gift of flight, but Cliffjumper had an advantage over most. The same accident that had given him his beast mode years ago had also changed his robot mode enough to make him an excelled climber. Now, he stood high atop the tallest building in Cybertropolis in beast mode, that of a graceful ram. His eyes landed on his destination, and his mind thinking back to a few moments previous when the Senate Building had shook from an explosion. Now, he noticed a small human form moving through the crow, away from the very building he stood on, and making it�s way directly towards the building he himself would be heading momentarily. Seconds later, he heard a small sound behind him. He turned slowly, clearly not afraid of whatever it had been, and as if he had been waiting for something or someone.

"Nightshade. Nice to see you again." He nodded towards the cloaked being now stepping out of a teal portal that had opened on top of the roof. Nightshade nodded back, and stepped forward to stand beside him at the edge of the roof as his portal closed up behind them both. "Decado just entered by way of the street. Looks like things are really busy around there lately. Word has it, the eighth Councilor was appointed earlier today, and there was an explosion just moments ago downstairs here at the Senate Building. I�m telling you, it�s been a busy day."

"So it would seem, Cliffjumper. So it would seem." Nightshade�s mind was on the Senate Building explosion, and on who could possibly want the building destroyed. Shaking it off, he glanced up at his Maximal companion. "We�ll be entering by way of the roof, I take it?"

Without a sound, Cliffjumper leapt high into the air, landing on a nearby rooftop. "Need you even ask?"

Nightshade smirked, and transformed into his own beast mode, that of a large Predacon bat. As opposed to Batbot, who was quite small, Nightshade was a rather large Cybertronian, and his bat mode was almost three times the size of Batbot�s alternate mode. He, of course, was not aware of this fact, since he had not yet met the new Council Operative, but could not wait to do so. With a quick flap of his wings, he took off after Cliffjumper, who was now waiting on top of the building for him.
