Decius could not help it - he drew back slightly as a little thought made Embyr's words make their meaning clear to him. Such a strategy flew in the face of all laws, all sense......and yet it was in great gambles that great victories were formed. No, Embyr was not addled with age and corrosion. In many ways, she was sharper and deadlier than any Maximal or Predacon ever created. Her danger now was not in weapons or fighting - it was in ideas, an infinitely more dangerous commodity.

I must be cautious........what she has in mind is more dangerous than anything in the history of this planet. he smiled, nodding impreceptibly to show that he had taken her words to heart. After the initial implications had run through his mind, Decius' first thought was, Can it be done?. If he was honest with himself, he had to admit he was not sure. Even so, there were ways. Someone he had met once at a diplomatic summit had said once, "There are always opportunities." At the time he had found the small, orange, big-eared fleshling repulsive in his avaricious ways. Now though, Decius beheld the truth in those words.

Perhaps a visit from some prominent government officials could convince the officials there to lend a hand to Cybertron. After all, in the past, we were one of their greatest allies......before things became as they are today." The words tasted like ash in his mouth, and he was willing to bet that Embyr felt the same.

For the first time in centuries genuine excitement coursed through Decius. Already a plan was forming in his mind. The next step, though, was Embyr's to take. Considering the stakes she was willing to play for, he did not think she would be long in responding, or lacking in that response.
