Denarius paced in front of the large window in his office. Decado had returned a short time ago with news of one of the new Senators, and Denarius had jumped at the chance to speak with a new addition. His message having been sent, Denarius now regretted sending it. Not because he no longer wished to meet Kyrocos, but because he himself wanted to get out and do something.

He had been cooped up in his office longer than usual that day, having sent Alex out earlier to meet with Perceptor and the other Councilors. Sending Moloch a message, letting him know of Alex's addition. And now Kyrocos. He was growing restless, and felt quite sure Decado would soon begin to worry about him. It wasn't normal for him to stay inside this long.

He stopped, and thought for a moment. He glanced down at his desk...and then quickly strode over to the door, shaking his head as it opened. Decado, I'll be stepping out for a bit. Perhaps I can take the new Senator out somewhere. Lynx's, maybe. I grow tired of sitting on my ass all day.

Decado stood, and nodded. Shall I clean your office for you, sir?

Denarius stepped over, and clapped Decado on the shoulder. No no, my boy. You go home now. It's getting late, anyway. This old man can care for himself, I assure you. I'll see you tomorrow, lad.

Decado smiled, and starting gathering up his stuff. Denarius stepped out the door to the hall, waving at Decado as the doors closed behind him. Making his way down the hall, Denarius's mind wondered a bit about the new Senator. What he was like. His temper. His attitude towards humans. How the other Senators would react to him. He felt quite sure that he wasn't the only one to know of Kyrocos's arrival, but he wanted to try and be the first to speak with him face to face.

He rounded the corner of the hallway, his mind still elsewhere.

Denarius Shelley walked right into Senator Kyrocos.

The impact knocked the human on his bum, and startled the newly arrived Senator...
