Lo, be still my fretful child.
Be still as this tale reaches your tender ears.
Look about you,
What sight greets you?
Lush meadows?
Laughing waters?
Sundappled glades?
This is the work of Shadowflax.

From shadows born,
Under stars brought fourth.
Dried by winter gales,
Warem by desert inferno.
Always moving,
Yet unknowing,
Of trails left by great hooves.
Those who followed these brought life to this land,
Mowing,
Hoeing,
Weather raining or snowing.

Now ebon elusive left these lands,
Leaving hillsides barren of his call.
Moving on to other lands,
Leaving no trace,
But memories.

Thanks a million to all of you who submitted an intro. It was very hard to decide which one was the best since they were all so great!
