Okay, this board can be used for out of character messaging, and also for announcements. If you are quitting, or are going to be gone for a sustained period, post here, also if you are not going to be able to get on much, just so I know what is going on.     As most of you peeps can see, the Member's board has been out of commision for a while. I think I'll do something about it now, ehehe....ahem. All members (players, that is, not the characters) please post below with all of your characters! And please, please please....

    1. Give me your OOC name. I need it. I really do. O_o

    2. Keep it simple. Example: Amarant/M/wingli

    Amarant stands for the name, M is the gender (Male or Female) and 'wingli' is his species. Please, if your character is part-elf part-human-part-wizard-part-wolf-part dwarf-part-hobbit or whatever...just give me two. Like human-elf or dwarf-elf...not a WHOLE list of things tracing back to the frist generation...hehe. ^_^

    I must remind those people who play characters with powers. No sorcerors or wizards. Really. None. We owners give special permission to some, after we know that they won't stress it and take over the game (giggle) and such. but the rules do apply.

    3. Whoops, the last rule was a bit long. This one is short. -No dead characters-

    Actaully, what I mean is...if one of your characters is about to die, please please please do not give him or her in your list. Sometimes, people fail to tell me that and a few days later they knock on my door asking me whay that character is still under the name and I tell them that they never told me that they died so....

    Yeah.

    4. When a characters DOES die or you quit him or her....please tell me here. HERE. Pointedly, so I don't miss it. (doo doo doo...dum dee doo....) Hehe. There.

    That's it. Don't hold back...I gots plenty of time on my handsa....

    For the LOTR thingy, I wrote down lines and here's how far I got...


    (Town’s people busy preparing for Bilbo’s party when Gandalf & Frodo arrive.)
    TP- It’s Gandalf! Hi Gandalf!
    (Gandalf + Frodo ride farther into the Shire, where Gandalf sees the b-day party for Bilbo being set up.)
    G- (Looks at the field in the Shire, where Bilbo’s party is being set up.) Oh! The long-expected party! (Looks to Frodo) How is the old rascal? I hear there is going to be a party of special magnificence.
    F- (Looks to Gandalf then back to the road) You know Bilbo. He’s got the whole place in an uproar.
    G- (Looks back to the road) Well, that should please him.
    F- Half the Shire’s been invited.
    G- Gracious me.
    F- He’s up to something.
    G- Oh, really?
    F- All right, then. Keep your secrets. (Looks at Gandalf, then back to the road, ahead) Before you came along, we Bagginses were very well thought of. (Looks at Gandalf)
    G- (Looks at Frodo, tilts his head down slightly) Indeed.)
    F- Never had any adventures or did anything unexpected. (Looks back to road)
    G- If you referring to the incident with the dragon, I was barely involved. All I did was give your uncle a little nudge out of the door.
    F- (Laughs extremely light) Whatever you did, you’ve been officially labeled a disturber of the peace.
    G- Oh, really? (Mumbles with pipe in his mouth, eyes getting wide, he looks around to see and old man glare at him.)
    TC- Gandalf! Gandalf! (Children runs to Gandalf, hopping fences) Fireworks Gandalf! Gandalf! Fireworks Gandalf!
    F-(Frodo looks at Gandalf)
    (Children sound disappointed.) (Small fireworks come from back of the wagon.)
    F- (Frodo looks to Gandalf)
    G- (Gandalf laughs softly)
    F- (Frodo stands up) Gandalf? I’m glad your back
    G- So am I, dear boy
    F- (Frodo jumps from wagon and into the field. Waves good-bye to Gandalf)
    G- (Waves back) So am I. (Rides up to Bilbo’s house looks at house and sighs. Then opens gate that says No Admittance. Exception Part Business) (Walks up to the house and knocks on door with wand.)
    B- No thank you! We don’t want anymore visitors, wish-well visitors or distant relations!
    G- And what about very old friends?
    B- (Opens door) Gandalf?
    G- Bilbo Baggins
    B- My dear, Gandalf! (Hugs Gandalf)
    G- (Kneels down and hugs Bilbo back) Good to see you. 111 years old! Who would believe it? (Softly pushes Bilbo away. Puts hands on his shoulder.) (Studies face) You haven’t aged a day. (Laughs
    B- (Laughs back) (Walks into house) Come on, come in!
    G- (Follows Bilbo)
    B- Welcome, welcome! (Closes door) Oh, here we are! Tea? Or maybe something a little stronger? (Takes hat and wand) I got a few bottles of Old Winyard left. 1296. Very good year. Almost as old as I am! (Laughs and puts Gandalf’s things in a corner.) (Runs down hall into the kitchen) It was laid down by my father. What say we open one, eh?
    G- Just tea thank you. (Turns around and hits back of head on chandelier, then turns around again and hits head on roof beam.)
    B- I was expecting you sometime last week. Not that it matters. You come and go as you please. Always have and always will.
    G- (Walks into study room and looks at maps.)
    B- You caught me a bit unprepared. We’ve only got cold chicken and a bit of pickle. There’s some cheese. No, that won’t do.

    Hey all, just dropping into say hello, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Happy Holidays, Hannukah......and the list could go on. Up here in Alaska Santa is relaxing from his travels, and Rudolph is playing monopoly with the rest of the reindeer. (Ya know there really is a town here called North Pole, and a Santa Clause house) ^_^ It's been insanely warm here, just got to twenty below this weekend. Anywhooo, looks like the place is surviving, got some LOTR going on, the castle back up..interesting. Yeah. Senior year is half over!!!! 2003 Rocks!!! oh, sorry, little enthusiastic. Laura looks still as stressed out, and Sonya has a wierd new name. (Meezers?) You really should change the season to winter just because here in Alaska it looks like a winter wonderland. And its Christmas. Who am I to say though? :p Keep it bally well up chaps, wot wot! (As Tammo would say in the Long Patrol; Redwall, anybody?)     An exeption to the rules about leaving Kavanagh: you may join Ravyn and the black Phantoms, because I wouldn't want to deny anyone of that experiance, and because I was looking at that as well.

    Briar's going to leave town (hafta figure out the reason) and head for Mordor, and the adventure shall go on from there. Leaving might take place here, but after that the rest will take place on the other message board. That's where you can get outfitted as well. Lily, Ariane (the elf i think), your welcome to join in, as well as others if you've seen the movie.

    After Briar posts there in which he'll be getting ready to leave, the message board is open. Everybody use you kavanagh characters. Briar and whoever else will be traveling together.

    Incidentally, Meezers gave me a great idea. People who want to can play Movie Characters, like Gandalf or Sam, who are traveling in a sepperate party, FOLLOWING THE MOVIES.

    Of course, we're gonna need book back up on the third one, RotK.

    Oh, btw, characters on this adventure are NOT in kavanagh, and cannot post here, except to tie up old posts. The characters can return at the end, as heros-or failures-. So, if you have two characters, you might only want to send one. In fact, it'd be better if each player brought only one; not including horses, animal companions, etc.

    There will be ONE company.

    Also, Meezers gets dibbs on Arwen, since she asked. That is, if she still wants her. I'll be using Frodo if no one minds to much, and Briar will be my other char.

    this is a side-story, not a take-over-the-site-rp. the battling goes on in other towns, other places. but the nazgul might ride through, and orcs might come...dunno. only those who wish to participate have to. no details have been worked out, so check this out.

    Laura! Ok, I've regrown the Old Forest, so if Amarant wants to come and try to ungrow it again, I think he'll be in for a few little surprises. But my charrie is very weak so Laura, it's not like I can fight magically with you (come to think of it, I don't think Adraine could even pick up a bow without falling over.) But, I was wondering if I could now create a board for it to stick up on the Faithche Valley board, I'm probably going to spend a lot of time in that forest, and I think it would be easier if it had a board of it's own.     First things first: Adraine!

    I remember your charries! And the forest. Yeah...about that. Amarant (my charrie that NO ONE seems to know) kinda got mad about the forest thingy, couldn't find the culprit, fretted, swore, kicked some stuff around and then used part of the powers he has concealed and never ever uses to revert everything back into seeds. Actually, I never posted it, because I accidentally erased it, but now we know it happened! Anyways, it'll be an interesting thing if your character goes there and finds it's not there and Amarant finds out it's her...but then again that would put HER in great peril because Amarant doesn't exactly through annual Popuri parties and serve tea all the time....*grin* BUT, you can regrow it. Have fun ((What? Amarant won't bother you...will you, Amarant? -blank stare-))

    Anywho. About Miv (I know you asked Sony- I mean, Meezers, but since I appointed Miv in the first place I'll handle this) Yes, you may become the new Stable owner. I'll put you up -- but if Miv comes back within the next two weeks she'll get it again. Um...

    Ah, like I said about the forest. A bit of magic? Um....yeah, I THINK it shoudld be ok. The reason why we don't have magic is because some people tend to want to be more powerful than others, which breaks out into a buch of OOC fights. If it's ok with So- darn, I'll never get used to that. If it's ok with MEEZERS *rolls her eyes*, then you may have a green thumb. (Tell Treebeard I said 'hi'! Ahhh...i luv LOTR!!!!)

    (brain...overload....emergency....emergeny....) Unicorn blood. Hmmm. You (he) may have unicorn blood. You are an ELF, after all, which kinda makes it....um, fair? Sure. But no superfast, mightystrong, powerful steed thing that outraces other peoples horses...(Awww...Shadowfax. So prettyyyy....)

    FINALLY (....emer....gen...cy....evac...uate...premises....immediately..) There is at least one more elf. I had an elf character...once, but he isn't active anymore. I'll bring him back, I guess. He's a middle-aged master of the bow...so if you ever see him, say 'hi'. He'll probably grunt and throw and apple at you. 'Course, that apple will be impaled three times with cherrywood arrows and served nicely into your hands in three pieces, but other than his tendacy to show off, he's a nice guy. *grin*

    TWO: Um...I know this is a Medevil RPG, not a LOTR RPG, but...can Ringwraiths, hobbits, etc, be acceptable? 'Cause...Briar rides a stallion that looks like a Ringwraith's horse. And I was thinking...if LOTR was acceptable, the horse could be from Mordor, and then I could run some soildiers through town, because they hafta stop the Dark Lord Sauron and...it'd be really cool! If you want, I could run it! And people who didn't want to have anything to do with it wouldn't have to. And, it doesn't hafta be the whole website if you don't like it. 'Cause I think Briar's horse is definatly gonna be from Mordor, though I won't drag the whole site into LOTR. And it wouldn't matter if people hadn't read to book, and they could even do it if they hadn't seen the movie...Well, g2g, bye!

    Ok, me again! Ummm, when I played Rose a long time ago, she and her friends were running from the evil witch, Dawn, and Rose with her plant growing magic, created a forest right on the edges of Faithche Valley. I remember it reeked of magic and mystery, and I was wondering if it was still there? Or it that was even llegal to do, because it's not like she could of used her plant growing powers against her enemies, she only created the forest to conceal them for a while, buy them some time. I believe the old King, Tarkin was with her at the time, but I can't remember, and Kapu, and Sallah(the Old Prince's brother), but anyway, just wondering! And if it is still there, could I create a board for it, and could you put it up on the Faithche Valley board, thankyou for your time! I really appreciate you guys putting up with me, also if you need any help with making anything for the site, just tell me! I have some ideas for some stuff, but I think I've talked long enough:).

    I'm bored out of my mind, ok I've got a few questions! Hope that's ok! Alright first question:

    Are there any other elves out there? Come on! I can't be the only elf here, elves are cool, every other game I go to, everyone's an elf! It's actually quite funny:)!

    Next question:

    How much magic are we allowed to have? I'm not talking about opening portals to jump between dimensions or anything, like the normal elf stuff. Talking to trees, making things grow(my old character, Rose, did that), stuff like that.

    Also:

    Could my horse have a little bit of unicorn blood in him? Is that ok? I've done that before with my other charecters, Dawn and Meagan, and no one minded. But I made them half unicorns and they could jump around between "magic levels" where they could look like unicorns in one, and talk like humans in another, and fly in another one. But I don't think I'm going to do that anymore, I'm just wondering if Esmeril could be a little bit magical because he's got some unicorn blood in him. Alright, so that was three questions!:), have a good day all of ya!
