Subject: theory on the nature of matter

a long time ago mi chamocha left a series of notes in my diary that showed how matter can be created and destroyed. Here's what that note read:

Well, there's this thing call the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle, which is derivable from quantum mechanics, which says that the uncertainty in momentum (dp) times the uncertainty in position (dx) is greater than or equal to Planck's constant, about 4.14x10^-16 J.s. It can be reformulated to be the uncertainty in energy (dE) times the uncertainty in time (dt) = Planck's constant. Physics understands this to mean that some amount of NET energy dE can be created and will exist for a finite time dt=h/dE, where h=Planck's constant. NET energy is important because some Physicists think that the universe could have been created as a quantum fluctuation, where the energy created was offset by the gravitational potential energy, such that the net energy was zero (or close to it) such that dt can be (close to) infinity. Essentially, mass/energy can be out of nothing. Pure nothing. Pretty cool, eh? :-) [mi chamocha]

Now, with this in mind I began to contemplate Einstein's theory of gravitation. Einstein believed that gravity was actually a bend or "curve" in space-time.

Now what to do with this information?

Well, what is matter, and why does it have gravitational force? I'm pretty sure nobody really knows. If you asked a physicist what a quark is made out of, you'd probably get a shrug.

Perhaps, matter is simply the center of this bend in space-time. Maybe, space-time folds on itself and forms matter. Maybe matter is nothing but space time condensed on itself, such that space would curve towards it.

just something to think about (I don't have time to go in depth right now, I'm kinda just hoping this is as close to reality as Democritus was when he came up with the atomic theory).
