Thanks for the recommendation. I think you'll love Düreforsög, if you can find them.

Funny you should mention laws of music. Rhytmically, I've never heard anything like Fredrik Thordendals record ("Sol Niger Within"). He's got some kind of mathematical formula, it appears. For instance, he often makes portions of 21 sixteens add up in an ordinary 4/4 rhythm, although it of course is impossible. In my ears, the result is extremely hard to follow, even mentally. I feel sorry for the drummer who was given a complete recording of everything but the drums, and was told to make a beat to it. And I have no idea how he managed so well.

More funfacts about it: F.T. recorded it all in his bedroom and garage (and on the organ in a church). And yet, the sound is perfect. The album is one single song, nearly continous music for 43 minutes. And it sucks being a religious fan of one single album and never getting a second fix.

About finding it: since I bought it, I've never seen it sold anywhere else (barring the internet, of course). A disgrace, I say. But if you (or anyone here) want, I could upload a few of my favourite parts from it. Just let me know, I'll be more than happy to be his prophet. :)
