Oi, rueyeet, I think your post about thunderstorms somehow sent on my way. There were about 3 brownouts (where everything turns off for a second and immediately turns on again). The funny part, though, is that my bedroom is on the top floor, and there was a kitty curled around my feet while I was reading.

All of a sudden, a large thunderclap. Complete with bright-as-daylight lightening.

You can probably imagine what happened when a startled kitty met my poor bare feet. I think there are little tiny chunks of flesh missing.

I pretty much had to stay up the entire night to prevent either cat from killing the other one.(We have two cats; one of which is twice the size and weight of the other.)

And of course, my bedroom window somehow framed the lightening bolts perfectly. A bunch of appliances kept turning themselves on during the power surges. I did not have very much fun.
