Subject: Them nutty Canadians!

So this weekend I had occasion to visit the Canadian Embassy in our nation's capital, in the midst of a farewell visit with a friend who will soon be leaving to study in Phoenix, AZ (I told him that if he sees any ads at all for Existi he is to go see them, dammit).

We did this for the sake of the bitty little rotunda thingy with 13 columns representing the 13 provinces of Canada (that's what he told me anyway). If you stand in the middle of this little place, everything you say will be reflected back at you from the perfectly-curved ceiling. Way cool, though an odd thing to attach to an embassy.

So we stood there for a goodly while and made idiot tourist fools of ourselves on that little disconnected bit of Canadian soil. Canada must just have that effect on people. It was fun.

Yup, I need to get out more. I know, I know....
