I've never been entirely impressed with David Lynch. Maybe it's because I do like my movies to make at least some modicum of sense.

Or maybe it's that feeling I get that there's really nothing symbolic or meaningful in all his wierd shit, and he's just doing it to be all artsy and obscure, because he CAN, and because he likes watching all the artsy-types try to scramble around and figure out what it all means while he laughs all the way to the bank.

Have I offended anyone yet? Or have I just used the word "artsy" too many times?
