They never really adhered properly to the egg anyway.

My sister and I used to compete with each other to see how many colors we could get on the same egg, or who could make the wierdest egg, or things like that.

My favorite thing to do was to draw a wide-eyed serious face on an egg with the wax crayon, so it would look like it was contemplating its eventual demise. Hee!

Sigh...I miss egg-dyeing.
