Captain Planet?!? Man, I hate it when they weigh down a perfectly good superhero story with a message.... ;)

Despite only being exposed to Spiderman in the paper's comics pages, and in the cartoon version with Iceman and Firestar, I think they did a decent job. I just wish that Hollywood didn't have this tendency lately to focus really close-in on the fight scenes....it makes it hard to see exactly what's going on. Especially when you've made the mistake of getting there late and have to sit in the second row.

And I just gotta say, Willem Dafoe played an excellent dual personality. If I could look half that malevolent at will, I would send people on the street running screaming. That would so enrich my life.
