Lots of wind, but not as much rain as we were expecting. There were quite a few trees blown down or heavily damaged, and lots of storm-surge damage on the western edge of the Chesapeake Bay. But not nearly the in-land flooding they expected.

We went outside a few times at the height of things; the trees were bending alarmingly but it wasn't as if the wind would knock you over or push you along or anything. Rain was being blown around so that it wasn't so much rain as heavy drops of wind-blown water. It was neat.
