Just in case there's anyone still reading ye olde boarde here....

Life continues to exemplify the maxim that "the more things change, the more they stay the same." Except, of course, for the changing part. Things seemed to have settled, more or less, into a sort of routine. I hang out more with the neighbors now, and am still never home at night. Work still occasionally drives me onto the Internet with its slowness. Life goes.

I had to replace my fridge because it stunk so bad from the food that spoiled there during the hurricane. Ahh, homeownership.

I also found that a kick-ass Pyrate Rum can be made by mixing a small bottles of regular Bacardi, Capt. Morgan, and Myer's Gold with a dash of Bacardi 151 Dark. Try it, it's lovely.

Details, details.

I miss everybody. LJ, devilish thing that it is, does not foster conversation; it's more of a "hey, everybody, look at this" and everybody looks, and says, "hey, how about that." Still, I wish Blu luck with job and Boo and bills. Warm rum-laced thoughts to the incomparable Mme. Evol, and all the crew. :)
