Subject: Re: Post Treatment Biopsy.

Is it not prudent to have a biospy following treatment to see if one has progressed beyond the first testing? How may one ascertain if the virus has actually gone into remission, or is still ravaging the liver. Genotype 1a, contracted over the age of forty is certainly something to stay on top of, especially in light of lingering symptoms. It may also be noted that it has been over three years since the last biopsy.

I would rather set my head on fire than repeapt that procedure as it was fairly painful for me, but I would like to know my current stage and grade before my insurance runs out. Still have not recieved the results of the PCR that was performed in March, and am anxiously awaiting same. Nor have I been informed of the results of my recent gallbladder test. Hitascan?

Maybe it is better not to know, however I am curious to know why I still feel so bad four months post treatment.

AGAPE to all of my friends and remember that I am praying for all of you.

God bless you.

Respectfully:

William

It is not necessary for an undetected person to repeat a biopsy as they will find out they did not progress. And even if by some weird means they did, there is nothing more to be done. The virus is gone. Biopsies are not routinely checked for the presence of the virus, just your blood.

You should have your results by now. I'd call and raise the roof about that PCR. There is no excuse for that.

Thank you Tooshini, that is my new terminology for collective names. Saves space. LOL.

Believe me, there are two things that I would like to see before I die.

1# A competent physician that is more concerned with an individuals health [as described in the Hippocratic oath], as opposed to worry about litigious patients as a result of malpractice, or at best malfeasance. Lets not forget about the monetary rewards also.

2# An honest attorney. Please, anyone here that is in the profession realize that this is a general statment that would be better left unsaid, or at least unwritten. I have found that the written word is analgous to the firing of a gun. Once it has been commited to print, it may never be returned nor rescinded. Oh well.
So sue me. LOL.

Hey, I gotta rant and rave sometimes or no one would pay attention to me. {Snickering to myself}

AGAPE sisters and brothers.

God bless and keep all of you in his[her, their] graces.

Respectfully:

Willhelm. [Germanic roots and all]

Hang in there guy, you have alot of people pulling for you, on this site for sure. You help alot of people even when you don't feel like it and hoping some of that comes back your way. Feel your distress, call and demand report. My doc had mine mailed immediately so guess was lucky, DEMAND yours but in a nice way (not like McRibaragin) (lol). Seriously, get better, take care and try to have a nice day and if that does not work, Bill's message about a food fight is right in order.
