Hepatitis C Transmission

What is your opinion on the feasablility of transfering Hep C virus from one soldier to another during routine inoculations given by the military, back in the 60's. There would be blood running down the arm of a soldier who was just inoculated, then innoculating the next soldier in line, etc. etc. without first cleaning the blood from the arm and cleaning the air gun that was giving the shots?
Could this be a reason why so many "Viet Nam" era soldiers are now being diagnosed with Hep C. 30 years later??? Your answer/opinion will be appreciated, thanks.

ABSOLUTELY 100% CORRECT! Yes...that is a way that hcv was transmitted!
