Donna,

This is a very big step and make sure you drink tons of water and 2 extra cups of water for every cup of coffee you have with this coffeehouse group ((())). Some people don't even have sides. But I waited knee deep in tx before getting anti-d's which I regret. Whether or not you have ever had depression this tx can cause it so talk to your doc...Anti-d's are helping me with my relationships to say the least. Best of luck to you sweetie and I love this group.

and 'water, water, everywhere... and plenty of drops to drink'. It REALLY helps!! (Even without treatment, but especially on it!) Mild regular exercise (walk 20 minutes a day? Start practicing now?) and water! Probably the best piece of advice I ever got about treatment was after I was through. One fellow said "I was told that, when I woke up in the morning DO NOT determine how I feel. Just get up and start my day -- then think about how I feel later."

I don't know how many days I doomed myself to feeling like kaka all day -- just because I focused on how I felt when I woke up. And, of course, my little 'doomsday committee' in my head would take it a step further ".... and this is the way I'm ALWAYS gonna feel... " One thing about treatment, at least for me -- it kept on changing. And, there were up-swings as well as down-swings. You'll do fine, tho'. We all were scared (and if a chicken-s**t like me can do it, you can too!!-lol). --susi
