the waiting list is for patient's just beginning treatment. There isn't enough pegylated interferon for everyone so they created a waiting list that assures that once you start treatment, there will be enough drug for you. I would call them immediately and get on the list.

I dont know what state your in but I do know that most states have an emergency insurance program in other word they can get you on quicker due to illness but with the waiting list for the peg you could probably get the insurance before the meds...
