right, i ain't gonna get into the whole hull / hornsea argument 'cos i think it's fucking stupid and i have friends from both places, both in and out of the punk scene. i'm also not gonna diss anybody, you know who you were, 'cos i couldn't have done hornstock with out your help. again, this is people from hornsea and hull. now i'm not saying this to show off or anything, but i think it's fair to say without me hornstock would never even have got off the ground. i asked the bands (all of them, either to their face or by email, PERSONALLY, except spamdagger, who i can't remember how they got on board, i think gill asked greg), i promoted it, did the best i could with venue / pa etc on a VERY imited budget, spent the best part of the 2 days before and after trolling round hull picking shit up and dropping it off, organised people to help on the door... the list goes on. yeah, of course rob, tofton and jonny helped, no more or less than a fuckload of other people.

and what do i get for my efforts? i get told i've done fuck all and i get some shithead causing £100 worth of damage that the skatepark (for which the gig was in aid of - i personally got exactly nothing out of it) will have to pay for. well, fucking cheers. makes you wonder why i bothered.
