the reason for the all-dayer being £6.00 is because it is costing over £1000 to put on in order that everyone gets paid and the P.A.is excellent, this time i've got a major headline act and compared to most all-dayers elsewhere it is very reasonably priced, in fact it is cheaper than most and no more than a single show in other big cities, i mean i went to see CAPDOWN at Fibbers in York and it was £5.00 (obviously worth it), but these are normal prices. It's just that everyone in Hull wants everything for nothing, which is a shame because the potential to have one of the best "Alternative"/"Rock"/"Metal"/"punk" scenes in the North, is there but for apathy, resistance to change.
There are a lot of people putting a lot of effort and energy and passion into what they are doing for this city and it's about time audiences started to fucking appreciate them a bit more.
I am not the only one to have had to keep working with this situation and i don't think any of the detractors would have the bottle to even start up doing stuff let alone carry on in the face of adversity.
finally i would like to say big up and thanks to Jimbo for his words of support on saturday @ Moriarty's
