PUNK Hmmmm There does seem to be a spirit of rebellion lacking in the youth of today, it seems that anyone existing within the "alternative" culture seems happy to be "different" but, sticks within a crowd.Take nu-metal the market for this seems to be very sheeplike in it's mentality hence the reason for bands struggling against a tide of apathy until until someone/thing(i.e.the rock press&tv)tells them it is cool. For me the spirit of punk is you do what you want when you want ,and don't have anyone ordering your life around, as long as you do not cause harm or distress to others, know your own mind and what you like this is one of the reasons why the uk punk scene is struggling to make ends meet (and also the uk metal scene). We should be supporting each other and the scene cos' some great nights out can be had at gigs, and people can meet up and get involved.that's all for now.
