Subject: emo thrashcore ska punk with death metal influences and folk harmonies

i went to the gig on saturday, it was ok but not really my kinda music. i wouldn't have paid for it. no offence pete. sunday on the other hand, was ace, and i didn't mind paying for it. there should be more party games at gigs. like pin the mohawk on the punk, or something. also, i agree with all the other youngsters on here, we need more young bands. no offence to the old school punks, but like rob said, it's been done, blah. bands we should have? in no particular order, or indeed genre, i want to see: hundred reasons, boyhitscar, boy sets fire, grade, seafood, lostprophets, planet smashers, unitas, the mighty fugazi, and more really good bands that i haven't heard of but should have. like fig 4.0. sorry, but "featuring ex guitarist of" and "set includes classic" makes me yawn.

mike ward allstars were great weren't they? they really ought to practice, then they could take over the world and we could all have trained robot monkeys to play video games with.
