through evolution and acceptance will we find a solution to stagnation and ignorance. criticism, cynicism and a wish to find fault in things that others do will lead us further down the path of hate and ignorance. many times we question whether what we do is right and wrong, but we find comfort in that which we find comfort. whilst some people will find comfort acceptance and that which they find familiar, some of us find it in social diversion and subversion.
the things which you hold out as the great cliches of punk, the anarchism, the hair, the damn patches are what the mainstream consider to be punk. anarchism is a diverse social theory based upon a break down of society, whereby there is no society as such, no heirachy, and thus no rules, it is not based on violence or ignorance as so many think.
i question my integrity as a so called punk. i play punk rock in a punk rock band, i don't know if it's punk or not, it's just what comes from my heart, that's all that fuckin' matters.
before taking the splinter out of a friend's eye, take the log out of your own.
i can't find any other psychobabble to spew out at the moment, and i know i'm gonna get flak and the like for being serious, so to end with, here's a joke:
why did the punk cross the road?
because the other side was oppressive and was like full of fuckin' automatons, yeah, smash the system.
