The little coyote is huddled rather close to his Rsslk companion, dusty coat standing out against her array of browns, blacks, and whites. As they padded along the well worn trail, Mercury raised her muzzle, sniffing deeply into the air. "What're you doing, Merc?" ("There should be some creatures in the clearing... do you wish to meet them?") Hardly having much of a choice, the 13 foot beast pushes him along gently with her velveteen paws, and within no time they have reached the wide, open space. Amazed at the lush grass, Ambrose yips in joy, sprinting headlong through the grass. He had not felt the lush foliage beneath his paws since he was a tiny pup, and now, he had a whole field of it! Mercury watches silently, sitting back upon coiled haunches, blading tail curved up and over her back. She would sit and watch; not being one of conversation, she was content to remain in the shadows.
