I can't answer that in terms of chapters, I can only answer it in terms of what's planned:

The Silken Cage has an overall story arc that will play out over the course of years. Journey is simply the story of the two weeks it takes them to get from LA to Japan, with the brief stop in Hawaii. We're about one week into the trip, so from that perspective, we're about halfway through. I also have something a couple of things up my sleeve for the second half of their voyage to Japan. How many chapers will it take to get the story told? I haven't a clue.

When the Journey concludes, we'll have an Interlude for the gang back in the states. Then we'll see what Angelus and Buffy get up to once they are in Japan (the section is tentatively called "Arrival"). After that, there will be a second Interlude, and then the final section (as yet, untitled).

At least, that's the game plan. Mai wasn't planned. Wulf wasn't planned. Both are now integral to what is planned. So, the story might end up including things that will surprise even me.

Happy reading.

This is a question way off topic from the one before me, but I have a question and I figure why waste the extra thread if I can post here?

Margot dear, do you have any plans to write anything Willow/Tara centric? I really enjoy your Buffy/Faith work and you Willow/Spike adventure was very good.

Good wishes!
