Short answer: The plan is still in place. Real life has seriously intruded this year. I was very ill, very involved in Saving Angel, suffered a death in my family and other related trauma, including being rushed to the hospital, myself, two weeks ago. (I'm pretty much fine, now. Just need follow-up.)

Here's what you have to understand about Millennium Dreams, Journey, Storming Heaven and, really, about most of my work. I tend to write long better than I write short. Short is mainly to get stuff out of my system. But, writing the longer fics involves continuity issues. I think that waiting to show anyone All Too Human, ...on the Highway of... and Puppy Dog Eyes until they were complete was the best move I could have made. Ditto Crossed Lines, although that was a quick fic that has a very flawed ending that perhaps a bit of time could have fixed. That's another issue. The point is, it is entirely possible that posting Journey and SH a chapter at a time was a big mistake from the point of view of telling a cohesive story. There are continuity errors in Journey that aggravate me no end. By not waiting until the story was done, I allowed myself time and distance, and the ability to keep working at a more leisurely pace, but this means I have to work harder to get back into the framework of the story when I return to it. The longer the story gets, the more material I have to re-read before I can move on to the next bit. That doesn't happen nearly as much when I write something in its entirety before posting.

So, the plan remains: get Journey to a logical place to take a break from it, wrap up SH, work on a few other odds and ends, then go back to MD. I have plans for that fic. They aren't abandoned, they are just delayed.

I also have some other fic in the pipeline. My muse is doing some very strange things, lately. But, it will be a while before anything is posted. I can only hope that people will find things worth the wait.
