At this point, the stuff they are doing on Ats is so far out of character for the Angel they told us about for three seasons of BtVS and the first two seasons of Ats, that I simply don't acknowledge him as the same person. Whoever this guy is they brought back from Pylea, he isn't the real Angel, and it is therefore immaterial to me what he does. As I said some posts above, I expect it will be years before I get through telling the B/A and B/A(us) tales I've already started, let's not even talk about new ones. I am writing a lot of fanfic in an effort to soothe the troubled B/A shippers at Buffysearch, and it seems they cannot get enough. I am appalled at recent eps on both shows. They are really trying to play us for fools. If the whole B/S thing takes off again after what transpired between them, I will lose all confidence in the shows so called *writers* altogether. Excellent, titillating smut (without any tackiness!) that actually is true to the characters, their world, and the plot. The effing thing with evil-ish Angel and Lilah was stunning and perfectly, creepily, heart-rendingly portrayed, as well. You let us see Angel's anguish, despair, so the reader can completely understand his switch from Shan-su seeking do-gooder to bad guy with a single-minded focus on his destructive goals. It absolutely blew my mind, especiallly now, in comparison to the bittersweet practicality and poignant Lovemaking between Buffy & Spike. Damn, you're good.
