Continuing to graze quietly, thoughts linger no where near grasses, holding no tastes for him. Instead they thought of other things, namely mare's happines near him. He was foolish for always moping, for making her feel she had to be strong for him. It wans't supposed to be that way, and he would see to it that it changed. Raising head, muzzle bumps mare's hide playfully, optics sparkling as he sidestepped away.

Tell me, my beautiful lady. It is a fine day. What shall we do? It is too pretty to stand about, grazing all day long. There must be something you would like to do.
