Steed lowers head, optics searching ground. It couldn't be. But it was. Muzzle outstretched, he stands silently beside Sunbeam, nuzzling her quietly. He knew no words to say, for her sorrow was reflected in his own being. For so many years had had followed lead, and even when Sun Chaser had become lead, always still Sunny held the spot in his mind, and always that would remain.
