Stallion nods in response to Frost, silently wishing her luck. Gaze turns slowly to retreating lead, before moving to each member of the herd. What now? Would things never return to normal? Tears sting optics, and he lowers head. The stallion he admired so. The oce who gave him advice, and had protected him since he was a colt. Gone? Tossing head, he sighs. Orbs search horizon, and for a moment, thoughts of running, never stopping, cross his mind. Stamping a hoof, he whickers mournfully. That would do no good.
