Sounds like a perfect explanation, if you ask me. If one seeks the future, why not seek it out by exploring, rather than waiting for it to find you.

Smile remains, though she knew she had done that very thing. Allowed the future to come, rather than finding it and making it what she would. Not that there was much for her to seek anyway. Pause in conversation was not uneasy, yet she wished to continue speaking with steed before her. But...about what?
