The healer knew so little. Thoughts move across the endless of expance of ocean that was her heart. A heart of vast secrets and pain. Sooner or later someone would ask why she had bothered to save little Eclipse, but that answer was easier than most. Some thought her future planned. Perhaps they were not farther from the truth. Head throbs slightly, ears toning out the sounds of the world as eyes close to small slits. No one had to know about it.. She could feel it all slipping away, but she had saved the babe. North Star would be hurt... but he would find sollace eventually. Breaths become less frequent, though she hangs on by a thread. Why? Maybe just to tell them she could.=
