 He stands still, allowing her tears to flow as long as needed, though muzzle brushes against her neck time and again, seeking to comfort her somehow. He wanted to say something. Tell her all was fine. But he didn't know himself. So, he remained still, quiet, providing her with what comfort he knew how to give, and with love unwavering. As long as he lived, she would never be truly alone if he could help it.
