| Blue Gold gallops in, her hooves finding tiny niches in the rock, as she scrambles with the greatest of ease up the side of the plateau. She glances behind her and waits for Halo, but steps foward, her body partly paralyzed with fear of approaching the home of both her sire & dam. She darts out quickly grabbing a small pendant and stands solemnly. She suddenly remembers her father's words and she bursts out of her grave bubble and her energetic personality comes back as she dashes about the top of the plateau. - She steps in behind the filly, her eyes gravely scanning the ground, her lips sealed in silence. When she catches sight of the pendants, she steps forward slowly, reaching down to carefully lip up, and tucking it into her mane. She gazes at it for a moment more before a small smile slowly spreads across her features. She blinks, turning towards Blue Gold, her old-self slowly sparkling back into her eyes. She pauses a moment more, then prances towards Blue Gold, bumping her playfully with her muzzle, "We shall never forget him, for as long as we live." Her smile widens, "That's what he would have wanted." She bumps her again, more lightly, more gently, "Shall we go home, now? I want Soul to know that everything's okay, that I'm alright..." she says softly before stopping, unable to describe what she means, but hoping the bright young filly might understand. | Blue walks down the side of the steep plateau and gazes at Night Showers grave and Sunny Delight's which lays adjacent to it. He shudders slightly, but remembers each of the mares. He picks his way back up to the top of the plateau and approaches the herd. He sees an unusually large patch of clover and nibbles some. He walks over to a small pocket in the side of the plateau and lays down. The stallion tugs at a large clay stone, but falls asleep before it is completely out.
