Subject: Need help w/ Boy Scout presentation

Hey, Pards,
This coming Monday night 10/3 I need someone to assist me in a casual CW presentation for Boy Scouts here in McKinney. I need someone to wear either Confed or Union, whatever works for you. Which ever you choose I'll wear the opposite.
Here's the overall plan. This particular troop does lots of hiking, etc. sorta like a boy scouts "campaigner" group. So, I have volunteered to do a small presentation to "advertise" a few of us camping with the scouts later this fall, only in 1860s style, of course. This presentation is meant to 1) Educate and 2) Build Interest in their upcoming campout. We'll simply tell about our uniforms, equipment, etc.
Also,I thought is that it would be great if about a half dozen of us did "campaign" style to show the kids how civil war soldiers lived in camp, cooked over a fire, etc. when they have their big campout this Fall. We'd have our weapons, but probably not fire them. I'll have to check on the details for that this next week. Sorry if this e-mail seems confusing. It's 11:15 PM and I'm very sleepy and tired. My appologies. Please let me know ASAP. Thanks in advance.
Chris Hottle, I hope you can make it; Brian Larsen, I meant to ask you when we talked this evening, but it slipped my mind. Thanks guys.
