Subject: RAM memory issue ...>>

Is there any reason that a 64mb module (increasing memory to 80mb) would show up as only 32mb (49mb total) on the Omnibook 800ct (166mmx). I've tried this with Win95, Win98, and Win2000 and it only shows up as 49mb total.

The sticker on one of the the RAM modules says 64mb, but on the back of the module there is factory print that implies 32mb. Could someone have sold me a fraudulent 64mb module? Is there any sure way to tell?

Thanks (if you have an answer, please respond to my email address, too)
