I walked out to the barn, ready to do some chores. Sammy and Ashley came with me. I walked past Velvet's stall, and then came back to it. Two little DARK DARK DARK bay foals were trying to nurse from their mom. I relized immediatly, that Black Velvet did not have enough milk for the two, and I rushed out to get Honor. Honor didn't seem to notice that the little filly was nursing on her. I ran back to the house to get John, Ashley, Anna, Samantha, and Lisa. Sammy squealed with delight as she saw the colt and filly.
"What should we name them?" Anna and Ashley asked
Our whole family spent a long time thinking of names, but we finally got them. We named the filly "Honorably Special" and we named the colt "Black Edition". Our family spent at least an hour looking at the newborns. Well, we better get back to work I said finally.
Velvet has finally had her foals
