i groomed Penny, clipped her lead rope on and lead her to the Schooling Ring of Castlereagh stables, my new semi-private farm. i lunged her for a while and then halted her and let her sniff the saddle pad, like she had before. i gently placed it on her back, and she did not even flinch, she must have been used to it form last time. i moved it around a little watching her reaction. i then let her sniff the lightwieght, soft girth, desined especially for training horses, and afetr a few mins i also placed this over her back, just hanging. i let her adjust to theis and then did the girth up, not tigt but so she could feel some slight pressure. she was very well behaved and only sook her head and began brething her gut in and out, testing the girth. i gave her some time to adjust and then i lunged her at a walk and trot. she seemed to grow accustemed to it very easily and in no time, she was trotting like her old self. i halted her, took off the girth gave her a carrot and a pat and tuned her out for the afternoon.
